My Time in The Navy 1999-2004
I found a few pictures of my shop in the Navy, 65B in AIMD aboard the USS Carl Vinson CVN-70.
These are a few pictures of my shop on the USS Carl Vinson CVN-70. This is located about half way down the tunnel on the hanger deck on the starboard side. 
A young 23 year old me, AT2 Jones. Must have been watch time.

Here I am working on a JTIDS Communications Radio on the test bench. It took about 3 hours to run the tests needed to repair this item. The shop is always set at about 60'F to keep the equipment cool so the foul weather jacket was a must. 
The HVAC system failed in the forward compartments of the ship. Everything needed to be shut down due to the temperature being around 95 and almost 100% humidity. We were off the coast of Australia when this fun time happened.
